Peebles Halloween Walk
Details
A spooky walk for Halloween....
Meeting at Kingsmeadow Car Park by the public toilets (free parking, toilets cost 30p to use), we will be crossing the river and heading west along the River Tweed past Neidpath Castle until we get to Neidpath Viaduct. From here, things will get spooky...
We will cross the Viaduct and circle back through the abandoned railway tunnel. Bear in mind, the tunnel is pitch black in the middle and for the faint hearted (evil laugh).
Distance: Approx. 4 Miles
Little Elevation
Mostly well laid paths. Bear in mind, this is a part tunnel walk with no lighting.
Upon return to Peebles, optional stop at The County - a dog friendly pub.
Hope to see you there :)
