Berwick-Upon-Tweed to Eyemouth via the coastal path
Details
We will be meeting at Eyemouth Victoria Road Car Park (free parking) and will be catching the 235 bus leaving at 10:25am (the bus stop is next to the car park). The bus is £4.90 for a single ticket to Berwick-Upon-Tweed and takes approx. 17 minutes - dogs are allowed on the bus.
Meeting time is 10am to make sure we have the group together. The bus won’t wait for late comers so the group will move on as planned. Make sure you get there with plenty of time to spare 😃
We will get off at Marygate. From there we’ll walk thru the town to where we start our walk.
There will also be an opportunity pick up a sandwich and coffee to go at Cafe Nero/convenience store.
From the start, we will walk back towards Eyemouth, over the impressive ruins of the Berwick fort and along the coast.
We will (for the most part be following this Walk Highlands route (but in reverse):

Remember to bring plenty of fluids and lunch for the trip - I will be arranging a couple of stops along the way to refresh.
Distance: 19km
Ascent: 340m
Hope to see you there :)
