"This fine coastal walk heads out onto the grassy headland at St Baldred's Cradle - the site of an ancient cairn with great views out to the Bass Rock. The walk then heads for the beautiful Ravensheugh Sands before returning to the start."

Meeting at the Tyningham Beach car park (there is a £3 parking charge - I'm starting the walk at 10am instead of the usual 11am as sometimes the car park can get a bit busy on a nice day). This is a circular walk, cutting through some woodland and then along the shore, circling back past some horse fields. The walk may be slightly amended as there is a section which is impassable when high tide.

Planning to follow the walkhighlands route, potentially amending it to walk the entire stretch of Ravensheugh sands to Peffer Sands.
