Lightning Talks - March

Hi Gophers,

Join us for another set of lightning talks! We'll have three or four talks on different topics around the Go programming language from our members lasting around 5-10 minutes with time for questions after each.

Speakers and Topics so far:

• Douglas McCallum on using databases with Go

• Alec MacQueen (me) on an introduction to channels in Go

There's space for a few more lighting talks so if you think you're up for it please get in touch with me. You can talk about anything Go related, even if it's something you're not an expert on. If you found the topic interesting enough to do a talk on, chances are we'll find it interesting too!

Pizza and refreshments will be served courtesy of our sponsors at MakeitSocial so come along, have a bite to eat and enjoy some great talks.

The meetup is open to people of all skill levels so whether you're a beginner or an expert you will be sure to get something out of this event.
