Edinburgh Graphic Novel Book Club - 1st Meeting - We3 by Morrison/Quitely
Details
"We3" by three Scottish Legends: Grant Morrison, Frank Quitely, and Jamie Grant. Perfect for first-time Graphic Novel readers & enthusiasts.
More and more people are realizing how strong of a storytelling medium Graphic Novels are and it's time for them to be discussed as regular books.
This club welcomes beginners and enthusiasts with a short read (under an hour) that packs a BIG emotional punch.
Our first meeting will be discussing and celebrating "We3", a Vertigo (DC imprint)-published experimental "Western Manga" by three Scots:
Writer: Grant Morrison (All-Star Superman, Happy!)
Penciler: Frank Quitely (All-Star Superman, Jupiter's Legacy)
Colourist: Jamie Grant (All-Star Superman, Judge Dredd)
DC just re-released We3 in their new compact line, which is under £10 and available online and at most local bookstores.
