In this calming and practical three-week course, discover how every breath can become a pathway to peace, clarity, and spiritual strength. Rooted in the wisdom of Kadampa Buddhism and the teachings of Geshe Kelsang Gyatso, this series explores how we can use the breath not just to relax, but to transform our mind and our experience of daily life.
Each class includes guided meditation, Buddhist teachings, and discussion. Through simple yet profound techniques, we’ll learn how to settle the mind, respond wisely to life’s challenges, and use every breath to purify negativity and draw closer to our pure potential. Whether you’re a beginner or already meditate regularly, this course offers timeless tools for living with more stillness, strength, and joy.
By the end of the course, you’ll know how to use your breath as a constant companion for inner peace — not only during meditation, but moment to moment in daily life.
Week 1 – Breathe and Let Go: Finding Calm in the Present Moment (2 breathing meditations)
Week 2 – Breathing Through Challenges: Transforming Difficulty into Peace (taking)
Week 3 – Breathing out Love: Making each breath meaningful (giving)
Week 4 – Purifying the Mind: The Special Breathing Meditation of OM AH HUM
Everybody is welcome to attend all or any of this course which will be based on “The New Meditation Handbook” and “The New Eight Steps to Happiness“ by Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche. You may also like to purchase the following audio resources which contain the meditations that will be guided in the sessions:

Each class includes practical advice from Buddhist wisdom and guided meditations. It is great for beginners as well as those with experience.
