This course is a chance to pause, breathe, and reconnect with a calmer, more resilient mind.

When everything feels too much perhaps the last thing we think of is to take a little time to meditate and get things in perspective. Yet we all know that stressing out just makes things worse.

When life feels overwhelming, with endless pressures, crises, and responsibilities, it often seems like we have no choice but to worry. According to Buddha, stress does not come from the external situations themselves, but arises in our mind in response to them. This means we have the power to change how we feel and to ‘get on top of things’ from within. By learning how to ‘drop out’ of a stressed mind into a clear and peaceful one, we can respond to life’s challenges in a more centred, flexible, and effective way.

In this afternoon course, Gen Tubchen will:

Explain where our stressful responses come from and how to shift them

Guide simple, effective meditations to calm the mind and create perspective

Offer practical tools you can use anytime you feel overwhelmed or stressed

You’ll leave feeling peaceful, with renewed inspiration and the practical methods you need to continue to create genuine peace in the midst of busy modern life.
