Whether you’re looking for a peaceful pause from the holiday rush, seeking some stillness in a busy season, or simply want a quiet space for yourself during the Christmas period, this silent retreat day offers a welcoming and supportive environment for everyone.

The festive season can bring many experiences — activity, expectations, and celebrations for some; quiet, solitude, or reflection for others. Whatever your circumstances, this day provides an opportunity to step away from the noise and immerse yourself in stillness, reflection, and calm.

Through guided meditations and enjoying the contemplative silence, you’ll rest deeply, refresh your mind, and reconnect with a peaceful inner space. You’ll also have the chance to make peace with solitude, discovering how being alone can be nourishing, restorative, and even joyful.

Over lunch, there is time to walk in nearby Pilrig Park or to curl up with a book at the centre.

This is no ordinary Sunday — it’s time set aside to care for yourself, cultivate clarity, and rediscover a sense of balance that will carry you gently into the holidays and the New Year.
