Developing a compassionate heart for everyday life
“If everyone were to practice cherishing others, many of the major problems of the world would be solved in a few years.” Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche

In the midst of our busy modern lives, it can be challenging to feel truly connected, calm, and fulfilled. This four-week intermediate course invites you to focus on a single, transformative insight: how developing a deep, authentic love for others can completely change the way you experience yourself, your relationships, and your daily life.

Through guided meditations, teachings, and discussion, you will learn how to open your heart, cultivate pure love, and apply these practices to every kind of relationship. You will develop the ability to respond to others with greater patience and understanding, while enjoying a stable, well-controlled mind. By exploring love in its purest form, you will discover how it naturally dissolves irritation, strengthens bonds, leads to an ethical way of life and fosters a sense of real purpose, joy, and hope for the future.

This course offers a unique opportunity to deepen your meditation practice while fully engaging with the demands of everyday life. Each session guides you step by step to experience the peace, confidence, and happiness that arise when love is practised as a living, practical, and transformative force.

Taught by our resident teacher, Buddhist Nun Gen Kelsang Tubchen, this course is suitable for anyone wishing to deepen their meditation practice and integrate genuine love and compassion into the ups and downs of daily life.
