Pentland Hills Snow Hike - Allermuir Hill (493m)

Hi guys,
This Saturday the 11th of January I’m planning a hike in the Pentland Hills, starting from Hillend and up to Allermuir Hill (493m), which will take about three hours return. The Pentlands are covered in snow right now which should make it a lot more enjoyable. I was there last Saturday and it's perfectly safe.

The plan is to meet at 9:45am at the bus stop near Waverley Steps
before taking the bus no.4 to Hillend. From there, we’ll head straight up.

Remember to wear some decent walking shoes, bring plenty food and water as well as a warm jacket.
Please try and sign up early so as to encourage others to come along.
