Eildon Hills hike (Scottish Borders)

Hi guys,
So next Saturday the 6th of September I'm planning a hike in the Eildon Hills in the Scottish Borders. It's a relatively straightforward hike with a total ascent of around 500m and will take around 3-4 hours depending on the route we take.
There's an optional visit to Melrose Abbey (£7.50) and also the Roman museum.
We'll be meeting at 9:30am at the Scott Monument on the west side on the grass, before heading to the bus station and taking the bus (no. 51).

For the journey, you'll need to download the Borders buses app and purchase the Borderless 24 hour ticket for £10.70

Please remember to wear good hiking shoes, bring a raincoat as well as plenty food and water.
