Alva Glen and Wallace Monument walk

Hi guys,
So I'm planning a walk up the Beautiful Alva Glen located near Stirling on the 19th of September. The walk is a fairly easy 2-3 hour return walk up a gorge, with plenty of waterfalls and streams, leading eventually to Smuggler's Cave. On the way back and if all are willing, we'll do a little hike up to the Wallace Monument for a nice view.

The plan is to meet at Scott Monument at 10:00am and take the train to Stirling, then bus to Alva. The total cost for both train and bus will be about £15. Please remember to wear a decent pair of hiking shoes and bring a rain jacket, food and water. I look forward to seeing you all on the 19th! - Myles
