Join us for an evening with the Spraffl founders where we'll be taken through their story of conception and their vision for where this controversial social network might take us. We'll also be a running a Q&A session after the talk followed by some free drinks and networking courtesy of Harviestoun Brewery.

The Revolution will not be personalised…

Founded by our very own Jay Feeney, "Spraffl" is a smartphone app that removes the ego from social networking and creates an instant anonymous hyper-local network. In basic terms, it allows us to instantly connect and comunicate with people around us without having to be connected to them on other conventional social networks. Conceived in Edinburgh, Spraffl launched Global at the end of January and has already received coverage from TechCrunch, The Huffington Post & ITN amongst many others.

Find out more about Spraffl at: www.spraffl.com (http://www.spraffl.com/) and take part in the Edinburgh Anonymous Social Experiment by downloading the free iPhone Spraffl app here (https://itunes.apple.com/app/spraffl/id497264078)

This is a joint event with The Edinburgh Social Media meetup (https://www.meetup.com/edinburgh-social-media-meetup/) and if there are no places available here, then there may be some available there. You would need to join that group to take a place there though.
