What we’re about

The Edinburgh Linux User Group is a volunteer-led community which aims to promote and support the use of GNU/Linux and Free/Libre and Open Source Software (FOSS) in the local community.

We host bi-monthly (sometimes monthly) talks on topics around Linux and FOSS computing topics from beginner to advanced levels, in a welcoming and convivial setting.

Talks are sourced from volunteers and the wider FOSS community - anybody can come along to attend, and we welcome new talks of all levels on the topic of FOSS in general or */Linux in particular.

Our Code of Conduct is available on our website.
