Fringe Day Out !

Hello all!

It's that time of year again so we're planning some fringe events!

The plans are as follows:

3.00pm - Meet at West Nic Records for a pre-drink catch-up and hello!

3.45pm - GET YOUR GEEK ON

6.05pm - EXTRA LIVES: The Interactive Video Game Concert!

7.35pm - ARCADE

10.30pm - SHIT ARCADE

Come along to any/all the shows you like! ☺️ Myself and Daniel have all shows booked so will be there to host the entire thing!

The most likely scenario for drinks/bites to eat between shows will be the food stalls at Bristo Square as all the shows are near this area.

We cannot guarantee any seating between shows, it's a mega busy Saturday during August - we'll likely mingle standing if we have to like last year!

Using the nostalgic aesthetic of 1980s video games, ARCADE invites participants to guide an avatar through a series of branching paths. Choices are offered, sides can be taken and multiple outcomes are possible: You can search out a more peaceful route or join a cult promising a better version of reality. Where will your decisions lead you? This is an interactive experience in complete darkness inside a shipping container, using binaural sound and sensory effects. ARCADE explores existential questions about free will and consciousness in a world where some may win and some may lose...

Shit Arcade is a comedy show in which a panel of comedians are forced to play and roast some of the worst games of all time live on stage. From ET for the Atari 2600 to Little Britain for the PlayStation 2, the games in each show are random, but the pain is merciless. Some audience members will even get the chance to play and help comedians beat levels in these terrible games – and maybe even take them home!
