The Road to Health: Marketing in Health Tech (Marketing & Advertising Meetup)

Edinburgh Marketing Meetup Group is rebranding and changing names. It is now officially the Edinburgh Marketing & Advertising Meetup.

The format is still going to be the same. It is still going to be informal and provides an ideal opportunity for members of the group to meet each other over drinks and nibbles.

Our guest speakers are experts in their industries. They will mainly talk about their "joys" and "sorrows" in marketing & advertising in their industries.

For October we will be looking at Marketing in Health Tech. We have a fantastic speaker: Alba Sort.

Alba Sort has 18 years’ experience in the marketing and branding of technology solutions, acquired in roles such as Head of International Marketing at digital agency DigitasLBi, part of Publicis Group; UK and International Marketing Manager at search marketing agency Bigmouthmedia; and Marketing Manager at several hardware and software vendors.

A former CIM tutor delivering the Chartered Institute of Marketing’s Diploma in Professional Marketing, Alba, who speaks seven languages, has also helped companies and organisations market innovative tech products internationally on a consultancy basis. Alba is the CMO of ALVUM, a digital health start-up focusing on gut health.

By train: From Haymarket Station, turn right when exiting the station and walk towards Princes Street, along West Maitland Street. The second street on the left is Palmerston Place – it is just beyond the Cathedral.

By bus: Lothian Buses Nos 3, 4, 12, 25, 26, 31, 33, 44, 48 as well as the Airlink Bus from Edinburgh Airport all stop at Haymarket/West Maitland Street. (Check with www.lothianbuses.com for maps & timetables)
