Developing people with Cultural Intelligence
CodeBase Ltd, 37a Castle Terrace, Edinburgh, GBWHEN & WHERE

- Codebase | 37 Castle Terrace | Edinburgh | EH1 2EL
ABOUT THE SESSION
Every organisation, from small community groups to global companies, needs people who can collaborate, influence and lead across cultures. However, negotiating the nuances between different communities is a skill that needs to be honed. If you’re someone who develops others, this session is for you.Whether you talk about leadership, intercultural competence or inclusion, one essential capability sits at the heart of it all: cultural intelligence.
Cultural Intelligence (CQ) is the capability to relate and work effectively across all cultures (be those cultures of nationality, gender, region, religion, ethnicity, sector or role).
The session will explore:
- Where are cultural differences showing up for you?
- What is CQ and what makes it so important today?
- What would improve for the people you work with if CQ was developed?
- Use practical, interactive exercises to explore the four capabilities of CQ (Drive, Knowledge, Strategy, Action) and how to develop them.
Expect discussions, a-ha moments and to leave wanting to learn more.
