### ABOUT THIS SESSION

Would you like a more engaging, rewarding and fulfilling experience of work?
If so, you are not at all alone. Gallup’s ”State of the Global Workplace" annual reports regularly disclose low levels of employee enegagment, with the 2025 report revealing that only only 21% of employees are engaged at work. Furthermore, the % of employees who are "thriving" at work continues to decline in many nations.

The good news is that it doesn’t need to be like this. People focused leadership and management can materiallyu improve how employees experience work, their overall experiences of life and their performance. And as individauls we can also take actions to shape rewarding and fulfilling work for ourselves and to grow and develop so that we are ready for the types of roles we aspire to have.

To do this, we first need to understand what really matters to us as individuals. We’re all different and have different motivating factors and needs at work.

But this is only the beginning of this journey. There’s a saying that “knowing is half the battle”. Unfortunately, this isn’t true. Knowing is much less than half the battle. To achieve the fulfilling work that we want, there needs to be a process of change. But this change won’t just happen. We need to initiate and own this change.

This change can take several different forms. We can change what we do in our current jobs, we can change how we think about our work or we can change ourselves so we grow and develop and are ready to move into a future job that we hope will bring us fulfilment.

In this session we will start the journey of reflecting on all of this.
Whether you’re looking to bring more energy and variety to your current role, to evolve your role so it gives you more of what you need or to develop towards your dream job of the future, this session will help you on your journey.
