We're offering a FREE introduction to our Edinburgh Short Filmmakers Group – a hands-on experience where you'll get stuck into real filmmaking from concept to completion.

In this exercise we're focusing on post-production and the importance of sound design. Often overlooked but absolutely crucial, we'll learn what difference good and bad sound design makes to a film. Then have a go at reconstructing the sound design in a few classic Christmas movie scenes. If you have a laptop with video editing software, feel free to bring it along - but if not, it's no problem, we'll be splitting into groups.

Unlike many film groups that focus on theory and discussion or get bogged down trying to get a project off the ground, we’re all about doing. This is your chance to learn and develop practical filmmaking skills through real collaboration. Whether you're just starting out or looking to sharpen your abilities,
