What we’re about
How do we stay steady and true when the world feels like it’s unraveling?
This group is for sensitive, thoughtful people in and around Edinburgh who want to build resilience, share deeply, and connect with others who care. You might be a coach, healer, or guide to others, involved in activism or change-making, or simply someone who feels things deeply and can’t pretend the world’s challenges don’t matter.
Because from environmental crises to global conflict, many of us carry feelings we can’t easily share around the dinner table without being told to “cheer up.” Here, we make space for those feelings. This is not a group for conspiracy thinking or venting endlessly, but a place to bring honesty, wisdom, and compassion to what we’re living through.
Inspired by Active Hope (Joanna Macy), non-dual philosophy, and the Impact Sweet Spot™, this circle is about:
- Cultivating resilience and inner balance in turbulent times.
- Supporting each other through deep listening and shared presence.
- Exploring timeless spiritual insights in a down-to-earth way.
- Remembering human potential, courage, and connection.
What to expect:
Monthly guided sessions (ticketed, low-cost) with a light structure: short reflections, gentle exercises, and time for open sharing.
Occasional free nature meetups or walks for informal connection.
A supportive community where you can speak honestly without fear of “bringing the mood down.”
Practicalities:
We’ll meet monthly in Edinburgh (exact venues not decided yet, but will probably include the Salisbury Centre).
Sessions will be ticketed via Eventbrite to cover time, energy, and space (think affordable, not profit-driven).
Optional email list or Signal group for ongoing connection.
If you’ve been longing for a space where you can bring your full self, listen deeply, and grow your resilience in community, you are warmly invited.
