Edinburgh Travel Meetup

A meet-up in Edinburgh for socialising and discussion about all things travel related. For locals, people new to the city and tourists to discuss their travelling experiences. Enthral others with a story or two from your past global explorations. Share your ideas, plans, questions or concerns for your next international adventure. A real opportunity to share stories and be inspired for your next trip abroad.

Hopefully this will be a positive group to share information and meet like minded people with the possibility of making new friends, expanding social circles and potentially arranging trips.

A few items I'm looking into ticking off the bucket list are: Cuba, Sao Joao Festival in Porto, Haro Wine Battle in Northern Spain, Morocco to climb Mount Toubkal, Norway for Hiking and Kayaking, Burning Man, Southern US trip to Texas/New Orleans/Nashville maybe do the Bourbon Trail, South Korea to see Seoul and attend the Boryeong Mud Festival, Japan, Rome for the Marathon and plenty of carbo-loading, as well as many others around the UK and further abroad.

Plan will be pick a date, pick a location, hang out there with a few drinks and repeat!
