Talks
Describing the Quality of Haptic (touch) UX for Virtual Reality (Joanna)
Haptic devices are being commercialised, and a plethora of new haptics are being developed for use in VR to bring forth the holy grail of touch virtuality. But what is haptic UX? How can you describe it, measure its dimensions, or understand what a good haptic UX looks like? These questions are answered, along with some tips to avoid common challenges and useful tools to help you evaluate high-quality haptic experiences in the future.

UX design in web and immersive technologies such as VR/AR/XR (Marz)
Incorporating VR/AR/XR technologies into design has become essential for captivating and satisfying users. Born Studios, renowned for their proficiency in crafting innovative digital experiences, shares insights on the distinctive obstacles and prospects that arise when designing for these emerging platforms. They highlight the significance of collaboration between UX designers, developers, 3D artists, and content creators, emphasising the importance of a comprehensive design approach.
