Another instalment of the midweek fitness walk. Preference on the guest list & waitlist is given to regular attendees.

We cover around 10km (6 miles) in 2 hours walking a circuit around the city centre in a mixture of fast flat, gradients and stairs with few breaks and a healthy disregard for traffic lights and on coming vehicles*.
This is not a guided walk, nor a photo safari and if you can't (or won't) keep up you risk being left behind.

The route is decided on the day, please dress appropriately for the weather. Mostly pavement underfoot so walking boots, approach shoes or trainers will be fine.

Optionally after the walk, refreshments at The Alexander Graham Bell (Wetherspoons).

RSVP’s
Open at 9PM a week before the event to avoid any confusion with the previous weeks walk.
Close at 6PM the day before the event. Only those marked as ‘Going’ should come along. Please do not turn up for this walk without a confirmed place, or ask for a place after RSVP’s are closed.

Signing up for this event or to the waitlist confirms you understand and agree to the following terms:

Walkers are responsible for their own safety, and no member or organiser from the group can be held responsible in case of any mishap.

Event hosts have the right to enquire regarding and decide on the suitability of guests for each event. This includes changing RSVP's to 'No' if deemed necessary. Waitlisted guests may be added in non-chronological order. Please double check the event is still scheduled and that you remain on the guest list from 6PM on the evening prior to the event.

Not suitable for dog walking, so no dogs please.
