Join me for this short three hill walk on a sunny Thursday afternoon (according to Metoffice) . We will meet at Hillend bus terminus of Lothian's No 4 bus. First we will "attack" Caerketton during ascent we admire the newest attraction at the snow sport centre, over minor ups and downs we reach Allermuir and finally Capelaw we ascend from South. Grass paths a few metres on gravel road and more grasspaths will bring us down to the bypass and eventually to Hunter's Tryst for an optional pint or coffee and cake
Requirements: a substantial good level of fitness is required for this walk
Distance: Only ca up to 11 km /7 mi (+/-400m)

Total time: ca 3.5 hours plus breaks (or as long as it takes )

Terrain: very few tarmac , gravel paths, grass paths,

Clothing: waterproof walking boots with good grip, all weather clothing, waterproofs,

Food /drink: bring a packed snack and sufficient water to avoid dehydration,

Dogs: well behaved dogs are welcome, but bring a short lead with you, we share our path on some parts with other dog walkers, cyclists, joggers sheep (ewes and lambs) and possibly Heilan Coos

Getting there :Lothian's number 4 brings you to the start point (10.16 from Shandwick Pl is the latest, arrives 10.52)
Getting back to Centre: Lothian's 4,5, 27 and with 5 min walk 16, Lothian's 18 to Airport or Fort Kinnaird
