join me for this walk along the water of Leith, the first of many that I hope to organise. The walk will start at Balerno High School at 10.30 am. The 44 bus will take you to the start of the walk, according to the timetable there is one arriving at 10:12 and 10:25 the walk will start shortly after the 10:25 bus arrives. We will walk from there to the water of Leith visitor centre at Slateford, where we will have a 30 minute lunch break.
The centre has toilets and an assortment of refreshments are available. After lunch, we will head on our way on the second half of the walk down to Stockbridge.
I anticipate the walk will take no more than 4.5 hours, including the lunch break, so a reasonable pace will need to be maintained.
