A view to Edinburgh from the "other side"

Join me for this circular walk from Aberdour train station with some interesting/awkward things to see ( if they are still there since last visit). First we smoothly ascend towards Dunearn, then walk on a quiet road to a wood labyrinth with trolls, pass by at the abandoned village Binnend from the shale times, at the Binn we check if Edinburgh has not burnt down while we are away, then we descend smoothly down to the coast to check on the seal colony while heading back to Aberdour for the train, provided Edinburgh is not burnt down.

Requirements : A good level of fitness is required for this walk, so waterproof and fast drying clothing is preferred ) as well as suitable footwear

Terrain: tarmac, gravel, grass paths, woodland, muddy sections
Food / Drinks bring some packed lunch and sufficient liquid with you,

Dogs: you may bring your dog with you, we share our path with bikers, cars, walkers with dogs (leisure as well as professionals), sheep (ewes with lambs), cattle and toads or frogs crossing our path.
How to get there: I will take the 09.39 AM train to Aberdour arriving 10.09 in Aberdour, I join the train at Haymarket (off peak reurn w/seniorcard £5.25)

Going home: there are 2 trains per hour back to Edinburgh (at ..17/22 and ..47/52
