Balerno to Hillend

Join me for a walk in the Pentlands. The walk will start from the 44 bus terminus at Cockburn Crescent, Balerno, and from here, we will head towards Harlaw carpark, where we will enter the park.

The walk route will take us over four hills. Harbour, Capelaw, Allermuir, and Caerketton. we will descend Caerketton toward Hillend, where the walk will end at the number 4 bus terminus.

You should have a good level of fitness to sign up for the walk so that you can maintain the pace. You should only sign up for the walk if you think you can manage that.
Walking boots or shoes are recommended, and I would advise against wearing trainers. Bring a packed lunch and plenty of water. Please check the weather conditions on the day and dress accordingly.
