Pentlands walk

Join me for a lowish level walk in the Pentlands. We will climb one hill, Harbour, which at least isn't one of the harder ones.

You must have your name and a photo of yourself to attend this walk. If you do not, then you will be moved to the "not going list." You should also only sign up for the walk if you are actually going to attend.

Meet at the bus stop opposite Currie library/ the Riccarton Inn for 10:40, the bus is due to arrive at this time.The 44 can often run late so the walk will start when this bus arrives.

We will stop for a lunch break around 12:30, possibly at one of the reservoirs of which we will pass five in total. The walk will end at Cockburn Crescent, where we will get the 44 back into town.

I have allowed five hours for the walk, but it may not take this long as it depends on the walking pace of the group on the day.

Bring a packed lunch and water, and dress appropriately for the conditions on the day.
