Cathie Sudlow is Professor of Neurology and Clinical Epidemiology, at the Centre for Medical Informatics, University of Edinburgh.
The Biobank was established over 10 years ago and was designed to provide a large scale data set for use in medical research. The initial information has been augmented with further questionnaires which panel members have been invited to complete. Professor Sudlow will elaborate on the design of Biobank study and the improvements in medical knowledge and practice that have resulted from this.
The meeting will be chaired by Cathy Crawford.
