Who Runs Edinburgh? - Professor David McCrone

David McCrone is Emeritus Professor of Sociology at the University of Edinburgh, a Fellow of the British Academy, and a Fellow of the Royal Society of Edinburgh. He has a long-standing interest in power within cities.

In this talk he will use his understanding of politics, history and geography and his love of anecdote to explore who actually runs Edinburgh? Where does power lie? And, indeed, does anyone run this city?
