Religious & Moral Education in Schools and the Wider Education Ethos.
Tom Hudson, retired Head Teacher and Humanist Celebrant

When it comes to RME in schools we need to understand what are we aiming for in educating young people and how can we get there. Schools are often seen as a basis for society, so it is important to look at the specific things that young people need to learn and also how schools promote rounded individuals. Tom will reflect on the existing RME curriculum and also on the importance of the wider ethos of a school education.
