Welcome to the Edinburgh JavaScript Meetup! We run monthly meetups for JavaScript enthusiasts. We are open to software developers of all skill levels and all backgrounds. We host technical talks, community introductions, networking and social events. September Meetup - Software Security in the Age of AI
Perk, 3rd Floor, Nova House, 3 Ponton St, Edinburgh, GBWelcome to the EdinburghJS September Meetup! We'll be meeting on Tuesday 22nd September, 18:30.
Hannes will be delivering a talk on "Software Security in the Age of AI", including AI coding assistants, npm/supply-chain risk, auth/secrets mistakes, startup tradeoffs, real-world failure modes and what actually matters vs security theatre.
We will also have a talk from Joshua on Software Bill Of Materials, a quick introduction into SBOMs and what it reveals about the software we ship.
