What Is Elm?

Elm (http://elm-lang.org/) is a functional programming language that compiles to JavaScript and runs in the browser. It's heavily influenced by Haskell, but much easier to get started with. The Elm architecture has inspired many state-management libraries: Redux, Vuex etc.
