On Saturday 28th October come and join the Edinburgh JavaScript Meetup community for a day of coding, learning and networking. We'll be meeting at 9:30am, running through to approx 5pm. Lunch will be provided.

We’ll help you learn the Astro framework to build a personal website or portfolio. Astro is a new framework that makes it easy to build content sites. We'll add styles, blogs and feeds, data collections, and API integrations. We will help you add Astro, React and Vue components to your site to build in interactivity.

What level of experience will you need?

Entry-level skills in HTML, CSS and JavaScript. You should be able to edit code and install JavaScript packages (e.g. npm, yarn, pnpm, etc).

You will need to bring your own laptop, and be running Node 18.4.1+ (or we can show you how to use cloud environments).
