Walk with a Doc 8/2
Details
Health Topic: How does your work impact your health and well-being, and why is preventing burnout so important?
Lifestyle Medicine isn't just about what happens outside of work. For many adults, work is one of the greatest sources of both mental and physical stress. Long hours, high job demands, poor work-life boundaries, and chronic stress can affect sleep, nutrition, physical activity, mood, and increase the risk of chronic disease. At the same time, poor ergonomics, repetitive movements, prolonged sitting or standing, and physically demanding tasks can contribute to pain, fatigue, and musculoskeletal injuries.
Since most of us spend a large portion of our waking hours at work, understanding how our work environment affects our health is essential. Join us as we discuss practical strategies to recognize early signs of burnout, reduce physical and mental strain, and create healthier, more sustainable ways to thrive at work.
