About us
Who are we?
We started in 2023 and meet at bars (that also have great non-alcoholic options) in downtown Edmonds. In addition to Meet Up, these events are promoted on the "My Edmonds Neighbors" facebook group.
The format
We mingle and chat for 30 mins, then settle in for 60 mins of sipping, noshing, and reading side by side ("silent" just means we don't read aloud). This is open to all folks over 21+ from surrounding communities. Whether you've only come once or attended quite often, you're building community one page at a time!
A little extra fun
When you buy a drink during the event, the bartender will give you a raffle ticket. At every gathering, we will hold raffles for a gift certificate to Edmonds Bookshop and $5 drink coupons. In December, we will hold a drawing with tickets from the year for a large grand prize!
