Downhill Skiing at Snow Valley

Join us for a fun evening of downhill skiing (and snowboarding!) at Snow Valley Ski Club. Whether you are looking to sharpen your parallel turns, learn the ropes on the easy hill, or just enjoy the fresh air and company, this event is a great way to break up the week, get some exercise, and meet new friends.

All Skill levels are welcome. If you are a beginner, Snow Valley has easy hills for learning. If you prefer to snowboard, you are welcome to, however if you have no experience with either we highly recommend you start with skiing.

We will be meeting at around 6:45 pm at the rental shop. If you are renting, please arrive a bit earlier around 6:30 pm. I will post more information about my exact location closer to the start time of the event.

After meeting, we'll spend 1 to 1.5 hours skiing, then perhaps followed by some relaxation in the lodge depending on people's preferences.
Please bring warn, weather appropriate clothing. Snow pants are highly recommended.

The meetup event itself is free, but you will need to purchase tickets to the facility, and rent equipment if you do not already own it. You can purchase your tickets and rentals in advance if you prefer, here.

As this event is outdoor, it can be cancelled depending on weather conditions. If the temperature drops below -20°C, we'll cancel automatically. Check this page in the morning of the event for updates.

All attendees are responsible for their own safety and gear. Please ensure you are familiar with the Alpine Responsibility Code and ski within your ability level at all times.
