Casual Walk & Meet New People

Join us for a peaceful evening walk, right in front of Edmonton's downtown area. We will start at the Emily Murphy parking lot, walk towards downtown taking the Groat road bridge, then along River Valley road and the river, and finally back across the river and to the park.

No hiking experience required. We will take things easy and stop as needed to chat or admire scenery. This walk normally takes slightly over an hour, but we have allocated 2 hours just in case we need more time.

Please note the following:
- You are welcome to bring your dogs, however note they need to be on leash for the entire route
- Parts of the trail may be icy or slippery. Please bring cleats if you have them.
- As this is an outdoor event, it could be cancelled because of weather conditions. Please check back on this page on the day of the event.
