Bio:
Geetha Anne is a solutions engineer at Confluent with previous experience in executing solutions for data-driven business problems on the cloud, involving data warehousing and real-time streaming analytics. She provides technical guidance, design advice, and thought leadership to critical Confluent customers and partners. Geetha also enjoys teaching complex technical concepts to both tech-savvy and general audiences.

Abstract:
Cloud data warehouses power advanced analytics for organizations, increase elasticity, and improve performance for a data-driven developer. With an ever-growing amount of data and a variety of workloads, traditional data warehouses couldn’t keep up. Data warehouses were not built with today’s digital-first, cloud-native requirements in mind. This necessitates modernizing your data warehouse, and it doesn’t have to be long or complicated.

In this demo, we’ll walk through how you can start migrating to a cloud data warehouse immediately across on-prem and cloud environments using Confluent Cloud, the Kafka ecosystem of pre-built connectors, and ksqlDB for real-time data processing.
