Abstract:
Unity is a powerful engine, but its unique lifecycle can feel like unfamiliar territory. This session will explore how C# operates inside a real-time environment and share practical tips for keeping your games running smoothly.

Starting with the basics, we will introduce core engine features, focusing specifically on the lifecycle of in-game objects. From there, we will look at common performance traps. Through practical code examples, the talk will demonstrate how to optimize performance, exploring solutions ranging from simple code-level tweaks to broader structural designs.

Finally, we will demystify how Unity handles complex tasks over time without freezing the game. We’ll look at why standard .NET approaches don't always fit perfectly into a game engine, and how Unity solves this in its own unique way.

Whether you are completely new to game development or a curious .NET developer wanting to see C# applied in a new context, this talk will provide practical, easy-to-understand engineering insights.
