Step-by-step guide for parallelizing your R code

The mini workshop will teach you how to identify the parts of your workflow that can be easily parallelized. You'll quickly gain parallel superpowers and you will know exactly how much time you have before the jobs complete, so you can hop out for a coffee! Peter Solymos, YEGRUG organizer, will showcase steps in some workflows with R and how you can interactively develop code, encapsulate it into a loop, then a function. You can now start using vectorized functions that are well suited for parallel computing as well.

This will be a hands-on meetup that you can best follow if you have a GitHub/GitLab/Bitbucket account. Knowing git is totally optional!
