Data Science Workshop: Using Twitter Data to Generate Leads (WiMLDS and Cybera)

Experts from Cybera (Alberta’s not-for-profit technology agency) will show you how to utilize data science and natural language processing techniques, in this case to find new customers and business prospects using Twitter data. During this hands-on technical workshop, you will learn how to take on a data science project, including the basics of data cleaning and exploration. Participants will also be introduced to select natural language processing techniques that can be applied to other business areas. This session is intended for an audience with some experience in programming. We will be using the coding language Python to do most of the work, but experience with Python is not a prerequisite.
It will be a workshop environment, so bring your computers!
