FOUNDERS PITCH by Edock | Startup Pitch | Judged by Audience
Details
No biased panels. No VC buzzwords. Just raw market validation from a room full of your peers.
At Sharks Roulette, the traditional pitch night gets a casino-style overhaul. Instead of convincing a few judges, founders pitch directly to the entire audience. The ultimate validation isn’t a scorecard, it’s whether a room full of builders would actually back your product.
THE RULES OF THE TABLE WITH ₹10k PRIZE
- The Random Spin: There is no pre-set order. We spin a digital roulette wheel live. When your name hits, you take the stage.
- The Wildcard Modifier: Before saying a word, you spin the modifier wheel for a random constraint (e.g., Naked Pitch with no slides, or The Lightning Round with just 60s pitch).
- The Equity Ask: Every founder must conclude their pitch with a specific funding ask and an equity split (e.g., "Looking for X amount for 10% equity").
- The Audience Chips: Every attendee gets physical poker chips at the door. If you believe in the product and the deal, you back them by dropping your chips into their betting zone.
THE WINNER
The founder who collects the most audience chips at the end of the night wins the ₹10k cash pool.
However, the money is split live between the winning founder and the audience members who backed them, calculated exactly according to the equity split the founder asked for on stage. (If you offered 10% equity, 10% of the prize money goes to your audience investors, and 90% goes to you).
THE FLOW
- 15 Mins | The Buy-In: Grab your chips, learn the mechanics, and prep for the chaos.
- 75 Mins | The Roulette Stage: Fast-paced pitches, sharp audience cross-examinations, and live chip betting.
- 30+ Mins | The Payout & Networking: We calculate the equity split, distribute the ₹10k prize pool to the winners, and move into networking.
Who this is for: Founders who want real, unfiltered market feedback; builders who thrive in high-energy rooms; and everyone who enjoys Shark Tank ;)
Strictly limited capacity for both pitchers and audience sharks. Secure your spot at the table below.
