What we do: sharing lessons learned

Three wonderful speakers will share their experience with digital projects, highlighting elements that lead to success and pitfalls to avoid.

Rahman Satti, an independent consultant for Online Content & Education, will talk about his experience working with German Federal Ministry of Interior Affairs, to develop "Digital Services for Refugees and Supporters” with the aim of improving service design strategies for engagement between refugees, public servants and volunteers during the refugee crisis in Syria.

6.10 pm

Amy Burrell, will share her journey of running a popular digital food education programme, which has already been implemented at 156 New Zealand primary schools, touching the lives of over 10,000 students and their families.

Ralph Springett will share the story of creating Soil, Food and Society: an open education resource (https://www.soilfoodsociety.online/) in partnership with New Zealand’s Ministry of Primary Industries and partners. The resource offers both students and teachers activities and lessons that are integrated with the NZ Curriculum and tailored to suit eight to twelve year olds.
