"Ed tech" is one of the hottest topics in public education today. But how much of the current buzz is overblown hype and how much is of real value in improving instruction and student achievement? What are the most promising products, processes and services that have arisen in recent years and what makes them distinct from previous rounds of technological innovation? And, how do these technologies work in applied practice, especially at the classroom, school, and district level?
This Young Education Professionals-DC (YEP-DC) event will offer attendees the opportunity to participate in a discussion on these and other issues, and to engage with multiple ed tech products through "show-and-tell" demonstrations given by company representatives.
