Kickoff and Planning meeting

Details
Hi fellow EdTech enthusiasts!
I just took over this EdTech group, and we're having a kick off meeting to plan activities for the next quarter. Everyone who cares about the intersection of tech and education is invited -- come and share your ideas about what topics to discuss or events to hold.
There has just been so much activity in the cross-section of education and technology in recent years that I think every serious educator HAS to look at how technology affects their classroom. From the rise of ChatGPT and LLMs, to the new normal of Zoom/hybrid classrooms, to the appearance of short-form media (eg educational Tiktoks) in teaching -- all of these represent both hazards and opportunities for educators and technologists alike.
I am thinking of hosting a regular discussion in this group, and for our kick-off meeting I would like to invite everyone who has a topic of interest or wants to facilitate a discussion to get together and plan. I hope this group can be a space for both educators and technologsts alike.
About me: I am a lifelong techie, having spent most of my career as a programmer and notably the last decade in big Tech. I am now an adjunct CS professor -- and I am passionate about how we can help teachers of all levels and disciplines teach better and more effortlessly. Look forward to meeting everyone.
