We'll be discussing Wake: Tales from the Aqualab (2023) by Field Day. Play as a young scientist exploring ocean ecosystems and conducting experiments based on real research. The game was a finalist for the 2024 Games for Change Awards (Best in Environmental Impact).
Wake is open source, makes its gameplay data available for research, and provides resources for teachers.
