A suggested way to organize a Meetup to talk about edX or a particular class:

  • Pick a time, date, and public location. The post your Meetup! Other edXplorers will RSVP. Make sure to set a reasonable limit for attendees; if additional people want to meet up they can simply make a different Meetup.

  • Meet other people taking the class! Who's just going to watch the lectures for fun, and who wants to work through the material for a certificate of completion?

  • Plan ahead: can you form study groups with like-minded participants? Agree to meet one day per week to work on the class?

And, of course, please be courteous and remember the Honor Code at all times.
