Liverpool JavaScript User Group is back on September 6th with Mike Hall presenting: Streaming FTW!

When you think about it, it’s pretty weird to wait for the final byte of a page to be calculated, before sending the first. So why does almost every template framework do that? How can improve things? And what are the benefits and pitfalls of embracing streaming HTML? This talk is aimed at frontend and Node developers who want to learn how streaming can boost the perceived performance of web pages.

Mike Hall has been a developer for almost twenty years, and is CTO of the Liverpool-based development company Digital Design Labs. He once appeared on the Sky One gameshow "Are You Smarter Than A Ten Year Old?" He wasn’t. He tweets at @mikehall314 Doors will open at 6:30, and we will kick of the talk at 7pm. Following the talk and wrap up anyone who wishes to continue conversations at the pub afterwards will be welcome to do so.
