Topic: Has CSR and Sustainability moved on?
For: Michael Hopkins
Against: Rudi Plettinx

Michael and Rudi will debate:

  1. What is CSR All About?
  2. Do we now need to revise that definition and, if so, what to?
  3. What is the link between Sustainability and CSR?
  4. Are companies doing more on CSR now there is COVID or would they anyway be doing more?
  5. Should not all institutions (NGOs, Government, International Orgs etc) be practicing CSR?
  6. Should CSR be compulsory in law?

We invite speakers from business or academia with experience of CSR/Sustainability to resent their views, followed by discussion.

Do be prepared to ask a question and also, if we are not too many, do feel free to tell us:

  • Your full name and current position and what is your area of expertise.
  • How does gaining more knowledge in CSR fit in your profession and work context?
  • You can propose an issue you encounter with CSR that you had to deal with in your work and/or professional environment to discuss in our next session.
